Four new cans, every HELWIT flavour with its real mg strength, and what the sale of HELWIT’s Swedish maker means for you in Thailand.
HELWIT is the soft, flavour-first pouch from Sweden, and in Thailand you only find it through Nicohub. This month brings news: four new cans have joined the range, and the company behind HELWIT has been sold. Here is what changes and what stays the same.
HELWIT is made by Yoik in its own factory at Gransholm, just outside Växjö in the Swedish region of Småland. Every flavour comes in a slim white pouch, 20 to a can, and the range runs from 2 mg to 7.5 mg per pouch. That keeps the whole brand at the lighter end of the scale, which is why it is the brand we suggest most often to people trying pouches for the first time.
On 7 September 2026, Imperial Brands, the international group that also owns the Swedish snus maker Skruf, announced that it had bought Yoik Group AB, the company behind HELWIT. The price was SEK 515 million up front, with a further payment over the next two years depending on how the business performs.
Yoik was started by Henrik Boson, Tobias Björneskog and Felix Stefansson, and in a few years they took HELWIT from a new name to 3.4% of the Swedish market, the biggest nicotine pouch market in Europe. As part of the deal, the founders and the rest of the Yoik team join Imperial Brands.
Nicohub keeps HELWIT in Thailand. Our exclusive distribution of HELWIT continues after the sale. HELWIT stays a Nicohub exclusive, sold at our Bangkok stores and the shops we supply, and the four new cans below are part of the range.
Three new flavours and one new name, all in the same slim white pouch as the rest of the range.
Hjortron is the Swedish word for cloudberry, the golden berry that grows wild in the north of Sweden. HELWIT describes its version as sweet and fresh, with a tart berry character and a soft note of honey. It is a limited edition, made in a limited run, so it will not stay in the range for ever.
Two of HELWIT’s most popular flavours in one pouch: Mocha, which tastes of cappuccino, caramel and chocolate, and Mint. HELWIT released it as a limited edition to find out whether it deserves a permanent place, and the can carries a QR code so you can tell HELWIT what you think.
The same Mocha and Mint blend with more nicotine behind it, in HELWIT’s Extra Strong series. HELWIT made it after many requests for a stronger Mocha Mint.
Not a new recipe: this is the flavour HELWIT used to sell as Menthol. HELWIT changed the name because Peppermint describes the taste better, and the flavour is the same. At 6 mg it is HELWIT’s strongest regular strength. You may still see cans labelled Menthol while older stock sells through.
All 18 HELWIT flavours Nicohub carries, from lightest to strongest.

Extra Strong cans hold 15 mg of nicotine per gram, which works out at 7.5 mg per pouch, roughly twice a standard 3.5 mg can. The flavours are the familiar HELWIT ones, so Extra Strong is the natural next step when the regular cans start to feel light, without jumping to a much stronger brand.
HELWIT comes from Yoik, based at Gransholm outside Växjö in southern Sweden. HELWIT says it could have had its pouches made wherever it was cheapest, but chose to build its own factory in Småland instead, to stay close to every step of production. The factory runs on electricity from the hydroelectric station next door.
Flavours are developed with some of the world’s leading flavour specialists and then put in front of real customers through what HELWIT calls Helwit Concept: new flavours come out as limited editions, and buyers help decide which ones stay. Banana won the vote as the best Helwit Concept release of 2023 and has been a permanent flavour since. Mocha Mint is the latest to go through that test.
HELWIT’s own rule is a balanced strength and a flavour that lasts, and every pouch is 100% tobacco-free: no leaf, no smoke, nothing to spit out.
The Nicohub Strength Scale sorts every pouch we carry into five tiers. HELWIT covers the first two:
Gentle tier (1–6mg). From Mocha Mint at 2 mg, the lightest HELWIT, up to Peppermint at 6 mg. Light enough for first-time users and occasional use.
Everyday Lift tier (6–9mg). A firmer daily pouch for someone past their first few cans.
HELWIT stops at 7.5 mg. If you need more than that, our strength guide shows where to go next.
BAOW, the cocktail-flavoured pouch from the same Swedish maker, has been discontinued and will not be restocked, so it is no longer part of the Nicohub range. If you liked BAOW’s 12 mg strength, the closest match we carry is KILLA, whose standard line sits at 12.8 mg. If it was the unusual flavours you liked, LOOP has the widest range of spicy and chili flavours in our catalogue.
